Gotham Girls
Feb. 5th, 2017 08:06 pmAfter Babs was confined to her wheelchair, she left the codename "Batgirl" behind and took up her new role as Oracle, the eyes and ears of Gotham. She watches over traffic cameras, police chatter, her informants all over the city, and uses that knowledge to keep her Bats safe.
But the Bats have their own troubles, and the whole flock has flown--Babs isn't sure where, but it's not her place to follow. Not anymore. Her place is with Gotham.
For now, she leans into her police scanner and listens for the signs: a botched mugging, a sudden confession.
There will always be heroes in Gotham. A city with so much evil cries out for warriors, and they answer. Babs just has to find them before they get into too much trouble, and make sure they survive long enough to become heroes.
